  We have used this restaurant many times in the last 12 months and it has been one of our favourites in Bedford. I can only assume it has changed hands recently as our most recent visit was awful. For Spice Shop read Salt Shop as even the poppadoms were the saltiest I've ever eaten. The service was staff were pathetic. The bill arrived with a service charge added (not mentioned on the menu) and when I refused to pay the charge I was challenged by the waiter. There is no shortage of Indian restaurants in Bedford and this one just fell of the list for us.
